Project 10 E-commerce / Marketplace
Multipurpose Marketplace
A multipurpose marketplace website template built with Next.js and Tailwind CSS, featuring category browsing, product listings, vendor pages, and a flexible layout adaptable to any niche.

The brief
A multipurpose marketplace website template built for flexibility — designed to work as a foundation for any platform connecting buyers and sellers, whether that's physical goods, digital products, freelance services, or local listings. Built with Next.js and Tailwind CSS for fast rendering and a maintainable codebase.
The challenge
Marketplace templates need to solve a structural problem: they must be generic enough to adapt to different niches but specific enough to feel purpose-built. The challenge was designing a layout and component set flexible enough to serve multiple use cases — services, goods, digital products — without looking like a blank boilerplate.

Approach & decisions
Designed a category-first information architecture: the homepage surfaces categories prominently, listings are filterable by type, and individual pages follow a consistent pattern adaptable to any product or service type. Built on Next.js App Router with Tailwind CSS utility classes — every layout region is easy to restyle or extend. Deployed live for hands-on evaluation.
Outcome
The Multipurpose Marketplace template shows how a well-structured Next.js codebase and Tailwind design system can produce a marketplace-ready website that's fast to deploy and easy to adapt — giving any team a solid foundation without starting from scratch.
